The sample 5-week programme is provided at this point in the course so that you can start to work with it as soon as you feel you have enough knowledge to have a go.
In fact, even if you can't do it all, just do the best that you can, based on your current level of knowledge.
It's perfectly acceptable to replace the strength sessions with your current strength training plan or the cardio with your current cardiovascular training. You may find, however, that as you work through the course, you might wish to amend your training approach to these. Much of this will depend on your knowledge & experience.
I'd encourage you to approach the training aspect of this course with an open mind. It's easy to become stuck in a rut with what we've always done & sometimes a change of approach will generate a significant step up in performance. That's often why pro athletes change the coach they're working with; a fresh set of eyes and a new approach can break a plateau.
